MUSICAL CHAIRS FORUM POLL:

This is the Musical Chairs Forum Poll!

In each round of this forum poll, there will be one chair less than there are players.

When the music stops - ONE player will be eliminated.

Then all votes are erased. We pull one more chair and the music starts again.

This poll will allow you to vote for as many players as there are chairs left - but just like in Musical Chairs - there aren't enough for everyone - and one person will be left standing when the music stops.

There will be only one winner in the end - but first: We will start with 10 players. So who is in and how do you get into this game?

Here are the rules:

1) The game will start with exactly 10 players.
2) The players must be on the forum and have already posted at least 50 posts - that way we already know something about you and can check what you have posted to help us find out more if we like.
3) In order to join this game - You must do the following:
+++++Post to this thread asking to join and
+++++Write a short statement (a few sentences is fine) on why we should vote for you

Example: "I want to join and you should vote for me because........."

This short statement will be listed where you post it and also on the Front Page for everyone to see. If you write more than four full lines of text - only the first four will be shown on the Front Page.

4) You may update your statement and post (but not double post) whenever you like to update - but the Front Page will only show your new statement after a new round is announced.
5) After each round is over - one player will be eliminated, votes will be posted to the Front Page and then: One more chair will be eliminated and we will go on to the next round.
6) After each round is over - All votes are reset to zero. You must earn votes all over again as each round starts.
7) The final match is when there are only two players left.
8) Each round will last one week.
9) After each round - the players will be asked to perform a task to post to this thread. You will not know the task until it is posted. Each task will be something simple that will require only your mind and your keyboard plus a minute or two of your time. Your post will be considered by the voters - so make it count. (No task will ask for anything personal, controversial, or otherwise inappropriate - An example is "Find a Google Image of a Walrus and post it to this thread". That will not be one of the tasks - but is an example of the type of task that you might be asked to do here).
10) The game will begin shortly after we have 10 confirmed players.

Previous Tasks:

Round One

Round Two

"Write a very short statement asking everyone to vote for YOU AND ONE OTHER remaining player. Whatever you write has to apply to BOTH of you".

Round Three

"Tell a short joke. Keep it clean and suitable for the under 13 crowd in case they drop in. " Let's hear your short joke. Maximum length is four lines on the screen - but it can be a lot less.

Round Four

"Teach us something. Tell us something that you think many may not know. It can be on any subject, just keep it clean. Maximum length is four lines on the screen - but it can be a lot less".

Round Five

"YouTube Video Time. Give us a YouTube Video link. Also give us a sentence or two describing what it is/why you chose it. It can be on any subject, just keep it clean. Maximum length of your explanation is four lines on the screen - but it can be a lot less".

Round Six

"Where in the world? Tell us where in the world you would like to go (and why) if you could go there for two weeks. It has to be somewhere that you have never been to before."

Round Seven

"Give us some good news. Provide a link to a positive/happy news story on any topic. Give us the link and a brief description. Keep it clean".

Round Eight

"Invent something. What invention would you like to see made? The technology does not have to exist for your idea. Tell us the name of the invention and then describe it for us".

Round Nine

"Find an avatar. Lopdo has had the same simple avatar for a long time. Please suggest a replacement for Lopdo to use as his avatar. Post the new avatar and tell us about it".
