loosing ranking when somebody quits

i know its probably not a bug but when im in a 2 person game and the other player quits i get negative ranking, is not my fault that they quit and even if i get 1st place i get my ranking reduce what can be done about this, or is it that i shouldnt play 2 persons game?

you should not get negative rating if someone leaves, what was your/his rating?

it has happen to me several times and most of the time i have a higher ranking than them, sometimes guests, i get from -1 to -15 when they quit

If ranking difference between two players is to great you will loose points even if you win. Also guests are special case. If you loose to guest, hes counted as if he had R:1500. If you win, guest counts as R:0 so difference is big enough to loose points for won games.

If you care about your rating you should select opponenets of possibly highest rating and never play with guests as they'll reduce your points anyway. Sad, but true. Guests are well ranked players nightmare.

mmm so no more guests on my game but that is going to provoque that everybody dont admit guest in their game i just lost 33 ranking because i had a game with 6 guests, i was 3rd oh well
