I see, but some portals (like Kongregate) have their own chat rooms for games, I can't disable those. It could be easily exploited by two or more kong players that make no chat game and communicate together outside of game

You're right. This game mode wouldn't work because you can communicate outside the game.

Just like currently people can talk out of the game and silently make an alliance.

Isn't it basically the same?

It's the same except that you can't make alliances in-match, making premade alliances even more powerful.

Usually, when too people are clearly allied from the start, others end up teaming up against them. Most of the time silently.

No need for chat to figure out these things :)

Either way, most people won't be in contact before the game, and can't get in contact during the game without chat.

I'd like to bump this thread.

A fun game I was playing just turned into a major rage fit & ragequit for me due to some random alliances being thrown in.

I could probably still have won it at that stage, but I'd rather quit these situation than waste my time.

Yes. This is exactly the reason we need a no chat mode.

I know this guy that i always play with, and we're always allied, so no-one knows that we're allied when we start off, and we don't ever really let on that we are allied, so a no chat mode wouldn't stop people making alliances, they would just make them before the game starts
Xerxes:Let us reason. It would be a waste. It would be madness for you and your troops to perish because of a misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.
Leonidas:Haven't you noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.

Most people won't do this though, and people could be kicked if they never attacked each other.
