Yes, you may. I will let anyone recruit. Just... Don't go around saying, "Join us! Join us!" and don't make us sound desperate.

Yes Fang, as head cheerleader, you may recruit for us.

Plus, I don't turn down opportunities for other clans sending people our way, as long as they aren't crap.

Poll Up. Anyone can vote, and everyone's opinion is valued. I ask that everyone in the community to vote and post.

Thank you, it is appreciated.

Move all inactive members into a separate listing, and start mass recruiting. Perhaps use a system similar to the VWC to decide who is and isn't active. Leadership doesn't matter so long as you are active. If you can't commit to staying active, give temporary leadership to one of the other members, or hold a re-election. Don't end the clan, rebuild it.

That is why there is no option to "Give Up." ;)

Thank you for your input Fang. I also believe that that is the best choice. It worked last time, it can work this time.

Good luck to Warrior's Creed. I am convinced that it can be done. It just takes some active work.

I suggest Highlander's approach - I have tried it myself with some limited success: Look in the game for players that are not on the forum. If you can draw in say about 6 new guys - even if only 2 of them are "high level" and the rest new guys/lower level - You will help keep not just your clan going - but the game/forum alive for all of us.

I also recommend to all clans something/anything that removes inactive players from your listing. I am very satisfied with the VWC changes that resulted in:

You must post something on the clan page once in a while and

2 months of no posting = Move to inactive
3 months of no posting = Remove from clan

Good luck!
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.

The thing is, it's a lot easier to attract people to your clan like that if you're an impressive high-level player (unfortunately the opposite happens too- it garners a lot of hate).

I had to get off at 9 (CST), sorry. Otherwise I would have been on.

It is harder to attract high-level players when you yourself are not one. Plus, it isn't high levels that I personally want, I would like active players that I can easily contact. If they are consistently active in-game, then that it decent, however, I would like to pull people to at least make a forum account and set it to e-mail them when they get a PM. That would be helpful in organizing matches if they do not check the page.
