My new topic is: Strategery!
I have discovered Strategery, an app for the iPhone. It is Vortex Wars for your iPhone. Well - Ofc, it is NOT Vortex Wars. But it is almost like it. I have been playing it for a while and it gives me a chance to deal with my Vortex Wars addiction when I cannot get to a computer and play "the real thing".
I have not registered so I am only playing against the AI. So I can close it and come back to the same game where I left off whenever I like.
Similar options as Vortex Wars, you can choose: Map size (small, Medium, Large, Epic) - I choose Epic
Difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard, and Brutal) - I choose Hard
Army Placement (Random, Borders, Manual) - I choose Borders
Starting Setup (Full Map, Land Grab) - FM
Battle Type (Attrition, Winner Keeps All) - Attrition
You Can choose your color (Blue,Green,Orange,Red,Pink)
You can also choose who goes first (You go first or Random) - I always choose Random
This is not a free app - I think it was 99 cents. There is also a Stategery Lite, which I think is free.

Sounds really cool! Any idea if they have it on android devices?
At first I thought you meant 'strategy' and thought you were about to discuss tactics for VW.

No clue on android. I only have an iPhone. I would think that they like money and have it for all though....but don't know for sure.
After posting this, I did download the free Lite version for the iPad. A lot less options. Basically, you get one or two choices of every option - they want you to buy the full version to get what I listed above. I do like it though - the map size is limited to Medium. Not bad for the great cost of free.

Been out most of the day (but was able to jump on a bit earlier for a short time) - And I must say - This is the most Red (unread topics) I have seen in a very long time. Time to get down to business!
