Black Lion and Waterlinkedgirl are good people. I haven't seen Waterlinkedgirl in a while though.

Also, for black lion, yes he is a good guy, I'm still "somehow" friend with him. I don't know about waterlinkedgirl, since she had me muted for 2 years already.

Well yeah, for people who want to join a well established clan with a good number of members their options are, Wolfpack, Warrior's Creed, and KOTRT.

EDIT- Military Soldiers as well.

Well, fortunately the WC seems to be on its way back. The Soldiers are a great clan, but no good if you are a forum kind of guy.

Yes- for now you will be listed as a "Recruit" until you have been ranked. Same applies to godkiller (requested to join via PM).
