I know I might always like this game. I always did (RISK before knowing Vortex Wars). This has become a major distraction in my life at the moment. So, why playing alone when you can join the forum as well? and express yourself... Although I felt a bit withdrawn with the idea of writing anything on the internet at first, I now care less. However, I am trying to extend this forum's interesting features at best, as a simple member when I'm really into it. I just hope this game was even more popular and that I couldn't manage to update everything or mark all topics read at once. However, very slowly, more and more of us are hardcore semi-premanent solid present forum members and forming a core, not counting the ones who left but left us with good traces and inspiration (BetaGen, Fiendess, Robomajor, etc.). I wait for the big hit where Forum's population will increase significantly (like an exponential upbreak point).

I believe not as many fanatics (like me) as there should be, know about Vortex Wars. Or, it is I who don't know about the best free online RISK based game on the internet which I doubt. I have my fun here.

I'm out of imagination, right now.

It will be a year for me in December 1st, and I believe I'll be around even when I'll be more into something else. But as I rejected FaRcebook and friends and not very much interested in what the internet has to offer, Vortex Wars Forum is the sole place on the internet where I do appreciate the internet and where I like to fit in whatever everyone's age. It is sort of my own kind of FaRcebook addiction.

Well, that' is the matter I wanted to share in a Chat Room.

I'm with you on this - I was into Risk before Vortex Wars. I too am hoping/expecting a huge increase in the number of players both in the game and on the forum. I plan to stick around long enough for someone to get the Unstoppable achievement (2000 wins in a game with 6 or more players) and for Highlander to get to Level 100! It might be in the year 2030 - but who knows...I think I will still be playing VW then - probably VW 6.0 - when lopdo finally makes clans a standard in-game feature.

Just got to increase the interest. I've been spreading the word a bit, though mostly to the players already on game. Have you seen how many people have join recently jut to be part of WolfPack? I think it's like seven or eight players that have come to us, and still like twenty more in the pm inbox.

I shall take a moment to flaunt my success before I continue...

Anyway, I don't do too much social networking stuff as it is, but I do have one thing... if a bunch of people who's names are six digit codes get on, you know I've been successful. I say there's a fifty-fifty chance.

And then I could use my Facebook I suppose, though I almost never do, and spread the word on celebrity pages.
