I'm only going to say this on my own page, because otherwise I'd be a hypocrite. I'd just like to point out that this is the internet, and that most of the people who are actually going to actively be part of anything new that starts are perfectly capable of noticing when a new topic has come up. We don't usually need these shout outs to visit a new topic, we all notice the new topics and check them out ourselves, because nothing here is private (the possible exceptions to this are bug reports, feature requests, and for some people, the forum games, though we really don't need to hear about what's going on in those most of the time anyway)
On the other hand, thank you for inviting us to the VWIPR, best of luck with your topic.
