Sound when username used in chat

Can we have a small sound chime when a user uses my username.... I mean not me specifically, but respectively, each player hears a chime when their username is used by another in the main room, game rooms, and game.

Good idea. Sometimes I'll have another tab open when it's not my turn and when it is my turn I look at the chat, and some people had asked for an alliance when I wasn't looking...

If this were implemented, it would also make since if someone said your color, as people often refer to you by your color in the game.

My guess is that people usually refer to other people by part of their name (i.e rat=ratburntro44, robo=robomajor). This is why you don't here a ping.
This too shall pass.

That's one of the problems with the name idea. You could shorten the name or make a spelling mistake and you wouldn't hear a ping. It would be easier to just do it based on color.

Yes, or if you could like click on someone's username before writing a message so it gave them a ping... then some noob might keep spamming people though...

color idea is good... I was thinking about it from beginning but I didn't considered it worth it... I might do it soon. As for clicking, that might happen when I add some deeper interaction with other players (like friends etc)

ah, yes... everyone calls me tech. But today someone typed my full name, hence I heard the ding. Which then took me back to remembering that I have heard that sound before, it had just been a while. So scratch that :)

yeah, long or complicated names are problem... maybe I will add tab-to-fill-whole-name feature, I need to think about it a bit. Regarding colors, there are 2 blue colors, that kinda complicates that idea :)
