Was wondering Beaver , players get notified when they level up with an on screen flash up-date , could the same be done with the achievement awards ,even yet few players know about them and they are more important than little numbers telling of ratings score.

It is supposed to, but there is a bug someplace. It is on my list for VW3.

Since VW3 is based off of 2.5, I need to get 2.5 working reliably first. My goal is to fix the remaining issues with 2.5 by the end of February. This means VW3 is delayed by 2 months, but it will be built off of a much better foundation.

So VW 2.5 is early Alpha VW3 kinda?

The plan for 2.5 was to get the technical changes out of the way and locate any serious problems before starting on VW3. Basically creating a solid foundation on which to easily build new features and improvements for future versions. VW3 will include the more visible changes.

I have a suggestion which I think I voiced elsewhere, but I'll voice it here too.

Blacklisted users are auto-rejected from entering your game.

User A blacklists User B
User B tries to join User A's lobby
Join fails with message "Host Rejected."

This will solve people joining and leaving games incessantly in order to annoy the host.

Things I personally think would be cool in VortexWars3:

- More races if possible.
- Custom map editor.
- In game clan tags with the potential to invite people into parties for clan battles.
- Friends list with the ability to send messages to friends in game.
- Get VortexWars on steam - lots of players search for new games using steam these days.
- Team specific battles, for example team Alpha vs team Foxtrot...
- Quests! Eg:

- Win 50 games with reptiles and get a bronze tint on the race badge.
- Win 100 games with reptiles and get a silver tint on the race badge.
- Win 250 games with reptiles and get a gold tint on the race badge.
- with 500 games with reptiles and get a diamond blue tint on the race badge. (Or some something more original like some sort of electrical theme around the badge).
(Something along those lines).

- Remove colours on names and make the color something you work for, for example...
- Win 25 games as red and get the red name text.
- Wind 25 games as blue and get the blue name text.
etc...
(Something along those lines).

Thanks for reading, that's what I thought of so far.

If this is implemented, I will have to change how I use my blacklist.

In addition to the obvious norm of "banning" a player from your point of view by placing them on your personal blacklist, I also use the blacklist to add comments about players. For example, if I think that two players are secret allies I ban them on my screen and input the name of the other suspect player as the reason. That way I keep on playing and if by magic those two guys pop up on one of my maps in the future I can act accordingly, but if only one of them shows up, I assume all is good and I do let them play on my map.

If you do use Fangfallen's suggestion, I would then like to ask that you add a comment or remarks option.
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.

That would be useful as well, just to add user notes regardless of if they are on your friends list or blacklist.
