Mute moderators

Postby Autumnwolf17 » Mon Sep 16, 2013 10:48 pm

I would like the option to mute moderators on a normal basis, they can still turn something on or whatever to be heard if they need to make an administrative statement, but when they are behaving as normal players, I think there are some who would benefit from being able to mute them.

I don't see this as unreasonable.

The point of them immune to mute is to be heard. This would ruin the idea.

I get that they should be able to talk in circumstances where they are moderating, that's kind of necessary, but if they are just talking on a normal basis and behaving as a player, I think it would be fair to be able to mute them.

It's like a police car. The police don't drive around with their sirens on all the time.

Muting them is getting rid of the siren altogether.

Could just allow them to say "/siren blahblahblaehfdbk cnkjdn MOD ANNOUNCEMENT" or however mod commands are put in.

Are you not listening? I'm saying they could turn on "mod mode" or whatever, the same way we can toggle premium. It takes less than five seconds, and then we will temporarily be unable to mute them.

I didn't know you couldn't mute me. I will not speak to you directly or about you, unless you want me to.

Unrelated topic - I would still like us to sort out the clan mess if you would like to. I'm not asking you to like me, I just want us to be able to have clan matches with no arguments.

seems quite inconvenient. I am more interested in why would you want that. Is some of the mods causing any troubles or do you often mute players that do not annoy/insult/bully/... you?
