1. How will I know if region is infected?
A symbol on the infected region will appear.
2. How does infection spread?
Each time it's reds turn or current first player x new random regions will be infected. Settings 1-3 per time.
Or a an infected region will attack and infect the attacked region. Clean regions attacking infected regions will also be infected.
3. Can I get rid of infection?
If a clean region conquers infected region, infection on that particular region disappears.
4. What does infection do?
Infected regions will lose units. A rng(random number generator) from 1-3 decides how many units region will lose. (Individual for each region). I'm not sure if regions will disappear when turn starts or ends or after distribution. But only the currently playing player will lose troops.
This might be expensive to put in game. Therefore I suggest a tip jar in shop for this and other requested ideas. Or a donation fund for players ideas.

'This might be expensive to put in game.'

Yep, Lopdo will have to create his own strain of influenza, then regulate its spread among his dice rolling slaves.
He will also be selling tip jars so he can continue to donate to his own forums, which bring innovations such as watermelons to the common folk.

But an infection will not be able to wipe out a territory with a strength of 1, right?
