Attack Boost Saves

Postby Ratburntro44 » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:24 pm

I have noticed that a defense boosts does not disappear until the spot is beaten, yet an attack boosts disappears when you use it no matter what. I think the attack boosts should also only be depleted when it is actually used, so that way if you win on your first try you still get to use it again. Otherwise defense boosts are more powerful than attack boosts.

you can't move defense boost so they can really quickly become useless. Both have their weaknesses

^Can you move an attack boost in the following turns after you use it? Fine. Let the attack boosts save, but save on that region. Better yet, just make all boosts be both attack and defense. If someone attacks a spot with a boost left, it acts as defense. If you attack with it, it acts as attack boost.

Downvote. I agree with Lopdo and how it is now.
I thought of the same thing, but then I thought of what Lopdo said.

Actually Rat has is right IMHO. Thinking about it even further brings me to the point where we should get rid of atk/def boosts and leave "The Boosts" only. Simply you place boost on the region. After that it works as def OR atk until used in any of those situations. If you atk from that region and loose, boost is activated and disappears - just as def boost works now. And you know what? You could not move "atk boost" then so they would have identical pros and cons ;)

I understood him as he would want to have two identical boosts while I would just merge them in one :p But yeah, I might have misunderstood.
