i think you should make it so you can talk to any1 without other people knowing like if you are blue and you want to talk to red type in red/ and then what you want to type to make it intresting and to NOT let people spy on your team conversations if you like this please do this i would love that idea! :D

This has been suggested. Personally, as I am strongly against teams, I dislike it. Except for the possibility of me manipulating everyone in the game into thinking I'm on their team and having nobody attack me.

Yeah, it's been suggested many a time and I agree with Rat. I am not in favor of it because it will always end up in teams.

And Rat... you're so sly, knifing, underhanded, etc... Oh well, I still like chattin' with ya :)

whisper would be nice.
for those of you who don't like teams: a game without teams means the guy with no one next to him automatically wins... not fun at all. it's a part of the game to manipulate people into not atking you and then betraying them once your victory is assured. which btw i only do because it's in their best interest: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1474

^The guy with noone next to him? If people are starting next to each other without it being full map, the problem is there, not in who doesn't have someone starting next to them. I hope Lopdo doesn't add whisper; the game is already going downhill IMO. First drawing, then shards, then boosts. Uhll.

by person with no one next to him i mean the guy who's most isolated has the most room to expand.
drawing is necessary because chokepoints can sometimes make it impossible for either person to win.
as far as shards go it's nice to have an extrinsic reward for doing well.
and boosts add strategy to the game because you have to choose which points are more vital, the worse the player the worse the choice.

Line 1: Okay. I still think it's peoples fault if they do nothing, and that doesn't mean they should make teams.
Line 2: Random map generator has been changed to make choke points much less common.
Line 3: I think the leveling up solution was perfectly fine.
Line 4: Boosts add pointless strategy. The game is so much better without boosts, I cannot even describe it. Boosts are horrible. Because of boosts, I now almost solely play HC 2 player games on Small random maps because it is where boosts are least used. Smaller map=Less boosts in play. Less people=Less boosts in play. I hate boosts. I wish Lopdo still let us have upgrades disabled. I would be perfectly happy to pay $50 a year just to be able to disable boosts in my games.
