The fix to the alliance problem

I love Vortex wars and I'm sure this has been discussed but my biggest peeve is going into a game and half of the players offering alliances. This greatly reduces the fun for me because it kills most of the strategy because when alliances form they can then solely push in one direction. I normally rage quit as soon as I see this happen at the beginning of a game and this is happening more and more as people begin playing.

I'd like to offer a solution to this problem: Team matches and FFA matches

Team matches

A game mode for the people that want/need alliances when they play.


FFA

Every man for himself

No in-game chat until a player has been defeated

Players names in the pregame lobby and room title would be hidden. e.g. it could say FFA room 1 for the room title and something like "player ready" where players names would normally appear in the pregame lobby


I'll surely still enjoy Vortex Wars if this doesn't get addressed and I'm very appreciative of the work the dev's put into updates. However, what was once a relaxing time to play a fun strategy game has become half the time having to deal with alliance squads of kids that think they are the next Alexander the great.
