Posted: Tue Nov 15, 2011 1:18 amNice idea but those players would then be able to start right next to any of the other players and kill them too easily. If the minimum starting distance comes into the game your idea could work.

Likewise, not true about starting next to someone to kill them easily. Remember, the opponents before hand go first, so they have an "end turn" man replenishment before the player with higher start number goes first.
IE: Red starts with 2, orange starts with 3. Red goes first and moves man, Red now has total of 4 men, orange still only has 3.
