Filter profanity

great idea so if u dont want to hear swearing and all the little kids dont get taken out because of the bad words this should be implied

You should not have to have a user list to filter profanity. If you are truly offended - you might not want to have to type in what offends you. Besides - there are multiple versions that you would have to figure out - Say for example that you dislike the word f*** so much that you want it filtered. Well - you have better also type in:

f***tard
f***er
f***head
f***a-doodle-do
f***you
f***ish
f***ing
f***wolves
dumbf***

etc., etc. I do not want to see any user needing to maintain or update such a list. I also don't want to see all users able to update a common list. I am not offended by what offends you. I can handle "stupid", maybe you can't - I don't want it filtered just because you are able to add it to the list. Where would it end anyway?

Use your mute and ban buttons for players that offend you. If it is extreme - use the Report Users thread and let a mod deal with it - and yes I know this does not work for guests - but that is the risk you take if you allow guests on your maps or join maps that do.

I think it would be censored in any context, so all the derivative words would also be censored.
