I dunno why you'd need to have an active ability for climbing. :roll:

"Smells like cheesecake" is a passive that attracts more enemies, perhaps? :idea: :?: :?

I like how a few have figured out that my shotgun carrying character has no ammo and smells like cheesecake, but haven't figured out the origin of the character name.
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.

So, from here on out I will try to produce a roll at least every other day. No guarantees, especially since I'm running this game on a second community (hence the two).
I'm sorry that the maps are so crap. I'm sorry for a lot of things actually but that won't make my maps better.

Here it is, your first day. You finally made it to the training area where you will be fully drafted into your Realms military to fight for glory. Except there's really no one here. You've wandered around for hours but find no one to assist you. None of the higher-ups payed you any attention. The only person of any use was a lost cadet who said you were looking for three drills. Then, finally you find the loading dock, with the three drills. Each one had a different colored emblem. One had a white insignia, another was a dark blue. The last one was green. They were all open and boarding passengers

The lights come on and reveal you to be in a large room In front of you is a relatively large bird. It takes a step forward and hisses at you as if to intimidate you.

'Oh.' she says, without taking her eyes off of your neck. 'We're the new cadets transporting to the training grounds where we'll be bunked. After a short last minute training session we'll be patrolling tense areas along the front-lines. Even though the war is still cold, they want security beefed up just in case. There are two other shuttles, the white one for Air and the green for surface. If you wish to change I suggest you do so now before someone notices or we leave.' While waiting for a decision she continues to stare at you. Strange girl.

'T-thanks for the explanation.' You reply before leaving the blue drill. You walk over to the green, and only moments afterwards they shut the doors. You adjust yourself in your seat to be comfortable as the drill steadily goes through earthen material. A few hours later you all stop, and get out of the drill. After the last of you walks out, a tall, buff guy gets out behind you. He stands next to you as a female follows behind. She faces you all with a hard glare.
'Students, you are here because we have a need. We need to defend our territory. And so, you're on training. We want to see everyone give it your best here. Strike as if your dummies are real, and aim to kill. Got it?'
She surveys the group.
' Good, then follow me.'
A few minutes of walking later you reach a training platform.be
'Okay, there are twenty of us total. So, I want to see five groups of four.' The commander says.
Then, everyone scrambles around to find a partner. You end up with the buff guy, who looks to be a Yellar. And then, a thin female Chryse joins you, of all the races. But, you only have three. The commander soon walks over and joins your group with a frown. She appeared to be a Shadow.

'No time for introductions. Let's get to the area we need to be.'
You set out at a brisk pace. Eventually you arrive at four doors.
'So.' Your commander starts. 'This is where you will complete the last leg of your training. Each of you will choose one door, complete the challenge, and then meet up for a group v group spar at the end. Okay, Zuul'ker, you first.'
