You both head off and get ready, meeting shortly afterwards in the clearing.
Alright, everyone board the drill, and lets head off. Raeya says. You all get on and ride up to the surface. After a few hours of travel you reach the destination. Soon afterwards the people you are to escort arrive. You walk with them to the meeting place in silence. You get there and the speakers start talking. Nothing seems to be happening but the delegates just rambling on for what feels like days as your part stands on all corners, with another guard detail covering the centers. The Surface Dwellers also have guards. Twelve of them, actually, with various weaponry and of different races. The tension is high, and your party is on high alert, but still, nothing yet.

Protests and screams of anger echo outside. Through this you concentrate on the 12 men around the room. Two Humans, two Elves, two Faeries, two Bezerkers, two Blobs, a Reaper, and a Ghost. Two swords, two shotguns, two staffs, two clubs, two unarmed, a scythe, and a spellbook. Things are getting rather heated, and the argument was getting almost slightly less boring. Suddenly out of the corner of your eye you see one of the four delegates from the Surface, an Elf, start to pull out an ornate knife. You have four Underground delegates.

You can do conditional actions, like 'If _ happens, do _'. Just keep in mind if you make it too complicated I might not or might not be able to make your action.

Underground 1 - Anti-Surface
You look around to see if any of your comrades noticed. Nella did, and right before the Elf attacked, she charged it:
{Nella: 2+2+1 = 5 vs 7 = 6+1 [Dodge] Elf}
{Nella: 6+2+1 = 9 vs 4 = 3+1 [Dodge] Elf}

The Elf managed to dodge Nella's first fierce swing, but falls to the second which cuts him down.
Everyone stands there in shock. Even the other console members seem generally surprised by what happened. Only Raeya didn't looked surprised. Instead, her eyes were filled with sadness and almost a since of hopelessness.
Well. The first delegate says, a lava shark female whom was the intended victim. Her voice breaks the silence that only lasted minutes, but seemed to stretch on for days. I think that maybe we should..... Continue or negotiations tomorrow. Everyone else nodded in agreement. You all escort your party to the hotel, with the twelve guards following behind, one for each of you. You all split up into groups of five. You end up with Ezekiar and the lava shark, as well as a Faerie and a Bezerker. To your surprise, the Bezerker strikes up a friendly conversation with Ezekiar. The Faerie and the Lava Shark start chiming in, talking about previous adventures. You're free to go where you choose, so long as you have a guard with you. That's what Raeya said before they departed. She also kindly gave you Guineas. 25 a piece for each living delegate.' Even though you didn't really do anything to protect them.

No, it couldn't be... one elf with a dagger wouldn't get even one step close to him without being incinerated. So, maybe there were more like him hidden in the shadows? Anyway, after finishing his contemplation, he redirected his attention towards the trio.
(my first attempt at if events!)

If none of them gave any sights of knowing the answer, the demon would say: "Well, let's just hope things like these don't happen again any time soon."

But if they did give an answer, he'd express his interest with something like: "Hm... and do you know anything else about him?" towards the person who gave the answer.
