Please post riddles that are actually solvable.

A dad and his son were riding their bikes and crashed.
Two ambulances came and took them to different hospitals.
The man’s son was in the operating room and the doctor said,
“I can’t operate on you. You’re my son.”
How is that possible?

Mr. Blue lives in the blue house, Mr. Pink lives in the pink house, and Mr. Brown lives in the brown house. Who lives in the white house?

You are correct. From one source the primary definition of “riddle” is to pierce with numerous holes. None of these posts have come close to doing that.

rid•dle 1
(rĭd′l)
tr.v. rid•dled, rid•dling, rid•dles
1. To pierce with numerous holes; perforate: riddle a target with bullets.

I actually think that the intent of each of the "riddles" here was to provoke thought and have the other players figure out the answer rather than just tell jokes. I didn't see anyone outright "tell a joke" here.
