I've got a funny story to tell. Or maybe it isn't so much funny as it is crazy and unbelievable.

As a few of you know, I have been taking college classes while still in high school this year. I began my college classes in late August of this year. One of my classes was Anatomy & Physiology, which is typically taken by aspiring nurses, doctors, therapists, etc. So it wasn't too surprising that the person who walked in and sat in the seat next to me on the first day was a girl. It turned out that she was 19 and her name was Allison. She told me that she was from California and had just moved to my area of Ohio recently. She was excited about seeing her first real snowfall. Other than that, I didn't give the occurrence any more thought.

However, several weeks into the class, she happened to ask me what school I went to. When I replied with my usual answer of "I'm homeschooled", I was shocked to find out that she had also been homeschooled. It was kind of cool to meet a fellow homeschooler at a place like that. This as well as the fact that she appeared to have a picture of one of my cousins who died recently and that her notebook had a lot of biblical quotes, led me to believe that she might be from the same church as my aforementioned cousin. The opportunity to ask her never arose however, and it eventually passed from my mind.

Nevertheless, life threw me another curveball. A few days ago (Saturday, I believe) my mother was searching for a electronic copy of my teacher's syllabus and was curious enough about my class that she checked the classlist. She came to me several minutes later and asked me if I knew someone named Allison G--------. I told my mom that, yes, I did know her; in fact, she sat next to me every day during our lectures. What my mother said next shocked me. She said, "You realize that you're third cousins with her, right?" Now, of course I didn't otherwise it wouldn't have been a shock. I emailed her right away and asked her if I had the right names for her parents. I did! I had somehow, for the first time, met my third cousin from California in a college classroom in my county in Ohio. It is probably the craziest thing that has ever happened to me.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share this with everyone as a kind of warning and just funny moment. Be aware of how you behave in front of others because you never know who you're related to!
Meet me (GivinUDaHimelik, Himelik, OneNOnlyHimelik, NoSoliciting) in-game to ask about joining my clan the Killer Mantids. We're always looking for skilled, active players.

A man goes to the doctor with a penguin on his head.

The doctor says "What can I do for you?" and the penguin says "well doc, it started as this growth on my foot..."
