Heh, it figures I'll go down in Round 2,

Just do what I do and play it for ages as soon as you can with family/friends/Slenderman, then come on here in the evening.

Except I don't play Motorstorm, I play Halo.

MW is a spring off game version of battletech (as well as Mechcommander and Mechassault)
It has a really huge and detailed lore, and is kinda like the Halo of 10 to 20 years ago. it was popular and tons of people played it.
The reason you didn't heard of it? Because people don't talk about games they played that is now extinct (2002 last game was made.. or was that an expansion to 1 game)
so yea,
Now you see there is something wrong, a active MW forum with as much people on at one time as there have ever been alts, defunct, active users here ever. (I think over 1,300 users one day, and that was a 'slow' day)
there is a new game, Mechwarrior: Online (you have prob seen Internet adds of it recently for the past month).
the reason the game stopped at 4 is because microsoft went bankrupt and switched to Console, so no more MW, then another company was gonna make a 5th, Micro sewed them, then through some stuff and stuff MW: O was gonna happen (I assume it is because of how different (but more lore friendly and better) it was then the other games).
it is Open Beta right now and it is Free to play.
