Let's not be fooled by the media's deflection of Ron Paul's success. There is a great portion of the population that supports Paul, and three states' votes is hardly a reflection of the majority.

He is an American political satirist and also an intellectual comedian.
He hosts a show "The Colbert Report" and has quite a lot of followers. He plays a character of a conservative and rarely breaks character. In the video below he did that at about 1:20

He has made a super pac to show the disturbing idea how they can easily be coordinated for the benefit of the presidential candidates (even though coordination is illegal). I have learnt this from his show, but found a short summary online. To run for the president he gave away the super pac to his friend Jon Stewart hosting a similar show "The Daily Show", therefore they cannot coordinate, but they can tell about their plans in the show itself. Both of them make comedy out of the debates, but people who watch both of those shows tend to know more about American politics than the average American.

Oh yeah in one of the straw polls, Stephen Colbert got 5% (I think Huntsman got 4%) without even being a candidate (due to the write-in)

Exactly, the media tends to avoid him a lot. The daily Show clearly points this out, since they take the actual reports and puts them in a way to see the bullshit obviously :)

Just to add,I looked at some of the different presidential debates and in the South Carolina GOP Ron Paul really... really proved himself of consistency.Especially compared to the other candidates (but the video only shows highlights of him) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIGrFbXgh-0

I'm creating a website to help people boycott CNN and Fox News.

Objectives:
Provide list of advertisers (and contact details of them) on both networks, both website and tv.
Provide pre-generated email templates/system for users to complete to send emails to each these advertisers expressing their concerns.
Provide list of alternatives that have provided truly fair and balanced media.
Provide a few articles as to why the boycott is necessary, with links to other articles/videos as well.
Spreading the word.

I am looking for any ideas that would help improve or add to the objectives as long as it's completely relevant.
Likewise, if anyone would like to and can contribute, please let me know.

I have registered:
boycottthepress.com
boycottpress.com
botcottmedia.com
What do you like better as a domain name?

My reasons for doing this are simple. In light of the republican primaries, I am astounded, shocked, and now upset that our main media sources have not been fair or respectful to the American people in delivering accurate news. It became too apparent to me during this election season, by the complete disregard to our election process, fair reporting, and ethical reporting conduct, that CNN and Fox News should undoubtedly lose their rights to be our leaders as news sources. We should not and cannot trust these sources. It is therefore my obligation to provide a method by which I can help our fellow citizens in finding ways to hit the two major news sources where it really hurts... their wallets. Please join me in this effort!

I would put the same website on boycottthepress.com, boycottpress.com, and boycottmedia.com, assuming that botcottmedia.com was a typo.

Only one should be the main domain, the others would just forward. It should be marketed/branded as one of them too.

I see who Stephen Colbert is. He's that old dude on comedy central. As to what you guys are saying about Ron Paul's chances I dont think that 2012 is his year. I mean sure you cant judge whats going to happen by looking at 3 states, but you have to remember that most of americas elections are highly influenced by swing voters. Pretty much idiots who beleive anything someone or the general public tells them.(This is the main reason that Herman Cain had to withdraw from the race because of all the speculation revolving around his affairs with his wife.) So it is very likely that Romney, or Santorum will win nomination, due to there relations with superpacs.

Im pretty sure at this point we all know Mitt Romney pretty much won the election. Althought there maybe a lot of paul supporters still left it war prettty much expected by a bunch of voters that he would win anyway. ;)

Not really. The economy is starting to bounce back, in a projection Obama won reelection.

yah it just really depends on the economy. if economy is good then obama will have good support and the other reupublicans will prolly steal some of mitt romneys votes

if the economy is bad, then mitt romney most likely will win even though there is still time for the other candidates to bounce back

I think it should be Obama still. The only single republican candidate who even has a shot against him, is Mitt Romney. The rest haven't a shot.
