Okay - I am now in Grepolis. This seems to be where many Vortex Wars players have gone to. I believe that Derka, Autumnwolf, FM, and Jonsteederi (plus that BeatlesFan guy) are all there.

And yes - that is a link from me. Once you join - one of the "early tasks" is to invite others. If the person that joins reaches 1000 points, you get some in-game coins. I am about two full days in and I have just shy of 800 points - so easy to get. Once I get to 1000 - Autumnwolf will get coins.

It seems that the battle for invites is now underway. I now have 840 of the 1000 points necessary for Autumnwolf to get his coins.

Just a note: I was able to watch the same commercial again today - for additional coins. The first time I watched it - I watched like there was going to be a test afterward. This time - I hit play and went to another room to take care of something else while it played and came back when it was done. Same number of coins. I don't feel the least bit guilty about it either. I had never heard of this movie before and never would have seen it. But after watching it twice - it is now possible that I may go to see it - so they spent the 4 coins wisely.

Okay - So for anyone that might want to check out Grepolis:

1) Spent about an hour or so messing around with it at first, just to figure out what things were. Most of it was just accepting tasks. Mostly click and accept. You do grow very fast at the start.
2) After that found that I could leave it on in the background while I did other things, checking on it once in a while.
3) And here it is - After two and a half days - I broke 1000 points. This means that Autumnwolf will get 200 valuable coins for use in the game. Most "big deals" cost 100 coins (or more) so this will be very important.

I am not sure if I am hooked on Grepolis yet, but if anyone else wants to join nearby - this is the last time I will post the link (except in a PM if someone requests):

It is a fun alternative and worth checking out I think. Unless something else major comes up, this will probably be my last Grepolis post on this forum.
