Spamming can be fun if done correctly.
The key is to not piss to many people off.
Also make most of your posts in chat rooms like this. That way you can't get in trouble for being off topic.

I got to sixth just by playing Forum Games.
If I hadn't stopped posting on the forum for so long, I would be competing with the 4K posters. (Actually I'd probably only be in 3K.)
