Because then Lopdo would have no money, since everyone would buy loadsa stuff with shards, whereas this way everyone thinks "YAY! SALE! MUST GET STUFF BEFORE IT RUNS OUT!" and buys stuff, rightly so.

Pumkins i hear cost 1000 shards lat year but 1600 shards this year so it went up. Lopdo you gotta get more money from us. Your game on kong is sponsored you have your warcoins which can be bought for kreds, your donation fund, the kongregate tip jar( i used it) so whats gonna be your next step to get money? One way to earn money could be to put up ads on forum and let the companies pay for it, then we would secretly add the option to hide ad, so the companies think their ads is alway shown but really only those who want to see the ads sees them. We will not give that option to sponsors so they will never know. So they practically give you money. Anther idea would be some way to save money.

There are numerous problems with that idea, but I'll only list the big ones.
1. Lopdo doesn't run the forum, he can't add buttons like that.
2. As soon as they found out, they'd sue.
