That's only due to the fact that in the majority of actual cases there are so many possibilities that none are likely to happen.

I tried to make a FoxClan as a subgroup of the Wolves. It didn't happen. which is likely for the best.

More to the point, clan members always leave when I put them in charge of subclans.

I say you make a subclan, make him leader, and since he's in your top five most loyal wolves, you can test the effect.
