the worst storm in NZ I've been in is none... the hardest weather is just heavy rain, small winds, and some thunder, nothing major.

It's much the same here, but NZ is pretty mountainy, I'm guessing you get floods too? People in NZ are the only ones who can relate to whether in Britain
um... we just got a mountain range (kinda like the spine of NZ) going through the east, a bit of the east and the west are all flat, also, the north island is nearly all flat, we rarely get floods, we had one in Auckland (major city in the north Island) got a flood 4 years ago I think, first on in like... 60 or so years...
NZ weather and temp is pretty smooth, winter and summer isn't to drastic to each other,
Also we got no killer animals, the worst in NZ is a Normal Dog, no wolves, no snakes, no bears or lions, nothing.
there is a few uncommon posioness spiders that are related to the ones in Aus, but they are so rare to find it near humans, you would not even know it exists unless you googled.
NZ and UK are pretty close in weather aye? mainly the rain xD
