Yes he does. I believe we had a chat in game about how if this game takes off he would quit his job, actually.

Yes I do. Every flash game brings his author some money. Lot of people live from that income (not me). Some choose ads, others sell stuff (like me). So yeah, I make money off it, but as of now, it is barely enough to pay for servers and hosting (multiplayer games are quite expensive to maintain)

Okay. Do you get paid by other sites (Nonoba, Kongregate, etc.) that put the game up on their site, or does it just make it more popular so more people buy warcoins?

the latter, more people play it, higher chance someone will buy something. They don't sponsor me otherwise. Only exception is Kongregate, they share their ad revenue with developer

I notice that this gamne is quite hard to find on there, not listed undder Multiplayer games, and the total plays you have is reasonably slow to increase.

This I think is because people play vortex wars Many times but KONg only count it as one play per session............
ie i click via kongregate to get to the game once, but might actualy play it for an hour....

it is correct, but it doesn't matter. Game hasn't many plays because kong is starting up game slowly, it should get better over time

Well, at least Kongregate balances it out by giving you ad revenue.
