Which race is the best and for what kind of maps?

IMHO:

Biggest maps (200+ regions): Cyborgs for +5 storage or Vamps so you win just a little bit more.
Smallest maps (8-20 regions): Frankensteins as you will simply never get enough regions for your +def% to disappear
Full map start: Undeads. You want to connect as many regions as possible in first turns and boosting every single attack helps a lot.
Medium map + Conqueer + Random: Natives. With random theres a lot potential for 1's defending areas in early game.
HC games: Undeads. HC is imho most strategic setting. You can plan your moves quite well. You don't want some random 8 loosing to 6 destroy it. Boost every attack!
Attrition + Conquer: Something with spawn bonus. My favourites are Arachnids. Reptiles should be as good as well. Insectoids or pumpkins should theoreticaly do the work but I would not recomend them.

Well, here's my take.

Hardcore:

In hardcore you have more than any other gametype the moments where that one region will make the difference between a win or loss. If you win, you are in the match, but if you lose, you are crushed. For this reason you want absolute assurance of your odds in winning a roll. Therefore, Tannenbaums are superior.

Attrition:
As you well know, you can be damaged in attrition, either by losing a roll, or being attacked. So, a great race to use is Natives, as they will make your enemy lose a bit more

Fullmap: Personally I prefer Werewolves, but Undead and Frankensteins are admirable as well.

You lose the bonus completely when you own 50% of the map

Players usually ask which race is best to give a clear picture on which race to purchase , i meerly stated Watchmen can't be bought.

Very clear that it's werewolves in the majority of free for all gamemodes, in an 8 player free for all it gives a great start and a decent mid game boost. Tannenbaums in 1vs1 no questions asked.

In which sense is looking cool the best race.My post was revelant as to player asking for a purchase of a new race and you can't buy Watchmen , i know as RoboMajor already PM'd me asking such,to what race he should purchase next.
