Vampires and Pumpkins

1)Its not really clear to me how many maximum troops can Vampires and Pumpkins get.
So have many it would be for each of them if id have got 20 territories or 30 with 1st army capacity upgrade?

2)how does attack and deff bonus work? do they work only if was thrown more then 20?

1. The spawn buff/debuff only affects spawn rate, not your maximum troop count.

2. The 5% + or - attack and defense bonuses do only affect a natural roll of 20 or higher. You get + or - 1 on a natural (unchanged) roll of 20-39 and + or - 2 on a natural roll of 40+ (not that you'll need it)

Maximum Troops are 20 at base, 30 with upgrade 1.
With Vampires you get 1 per territory for 1-9, 1 less than territories from 10 to 19, 2 less than territories for 20 and 21.
Vampires with upgrade also get 2 less than territories for 22-29, and 3 less than territories for 30-33.

Pumpkins (and insectoids) get 1 per territory for 1-9, and 1 more than territories from 10 to 19.
Pumpkins (and insectoids) with upgrade also get 2 more than territories for 20-28.

Are we using d20 sims now?

I *REALLY* want to know how the random number generator is affected and effected, possibly in that order.

You're wrong about pumpkins, it's 15%.

For the defense/attack bonus it is like that, in attrition mod:
1) Roll #troups D6
2) Sum the dice results
3) Multiply the sum by your bonus (*1.05 or *0.95)
4) Round up if bonus is negative, round down if bonus is positive.

Because of 4), it only affect your score when the rolls summed up to >19.

Also, you can have up to 40 supplies with both upgrades.
