Some personal feedback on your high potential game !

Hello guys, and especially Lopdo,

First of all, congratulations for your awesome game !

You can consider this message as a feedback from a frenetic player :P

To present my experience of the game, I've done so far a little bit more than 100games, mostly 8players L-XXL, around 55% victory rate, around 1:2.7 ratio conquered/lost.

So, there is my general feedback.

Some pro's and con's:
+ Really great game overall.
+ Can be truly strategic if you choose the good settings and the placement is done wisely, at least not too stupidly, by all players.
+ Well designed, old but renewed concept of ol' risk.
- Could be based only on pure luck depending of the settings and the players.
- A player can ruin your game if he wants too (ruining his too of course, or it wouldn't be a problem ^^)

Would I would propose to make the game even better:
° Add for really long (static) game a bonus depending of the biggest region size to avoid blocked situation.
° Forbid on bigger (like L+ or M+) map adjacent placing (random new player just kamikazin' you is dumb...)
° Maybe the hardest: balance the starting position. Two propositions: give a % xp/shard bonus to reward last players, or give a defensive only degressive bonus for the first turns (like 25%, -5% each turn).
° Make the host unable to kick a "ready" player to avoid abuse.

Some little improvements:
° Make "end turn" automatic when no move is possible.
° Improve game GUI: zoom/dezoom, possibility of bigger window, ...
° Make the timer for placement like the one for moves: each placement give you a little bit more time, less time if you don't do anything.

Bugs I've seen:
° A minus supply count for someone between turn (no influence on the game tho), only once.
° Sometimes the in game screen blink to the other side of the map.

Some cool feature I'd like/I'm looking forward:
° Friends, event. clan system.
° Private game, tournament or ranking.
° The map editor, even a really basic one !
° Possibility to make hard-alliance before the start (as 2v2, or 2v2v2v2, or whatever, and add a placement order fair for all team (easy in this case).
And, of course, the most important'est:
° New gamemods, new races, new upgrades, new, new, new ! New features in general (but as option/setting, the core of the game is great!).

It's all that come to my mind, but, overall, keep it on dude !

PS: Yes, I know, some (if not all) my points are maybe (probably) already proposed/denied/whatever, but my point is that I'm just giving my global feedback as a random player =).

Another think, what about a new awesome and easy to implement setting:
Dice setting = {(1D6), (1D5), (1D5+1), (1D10), (1D4), ...}
It would be totally great feature.

Also, I had two questions, if I may ask:
1) How did you implement the +5% attack/defense racial bonus?
2) How are the loss for the winner of a battle in attrition mod computed?
I didn't find the answer on the forum, but I maybe missed them.
