As in time those words eventually are added to the official English language however when it comes to words that have already been defined they will next to never be added into the official language as a definition.

English is my 1st language and only language as I don't have a need for a 2nd. While people may think that is what the word means the English language has rules and guild lines (thanks to the British they keep it proper ;) ) Keep in mind the following:

The official definition of the word "definition" (Oxford Dictionary) a statement of the exact meaning of a word, especially in a dictionary. Of course you could argue that Urban Dictionary is an Dictionary because they simply write it on there website     but in reality the Webster and Oxford Dictionary are the main sources for defining words and there meaning. There may be a few lesser known offical sources but for the most part Webster is the Offical source with Oxford being an alternative. Either way we all learn something new every day. Even if English is not your 1st language your understanding of the language is impressive.

Yes, that was a complement which I guess you should respond insulting and calling me mean again! because I'm never nice

You have horrible grammar for a native English speaker. Seriously.

Webster isn't the number one dictionary. Oxford is, then Cambridge.

Who cares about global stats? United States is the only important leader in the English language along with UK and Australia. Other than that other countries do not have official control over the English language so there stats are not important to note in an Official contect.

Simply meaning USA, UK and Australia sets the official rules rest of the world only sets there unofficial local culture of the language it is not official and it is not important to note.

British English, on a global level, is the dominant version. As such, Oxford is far more significant than M-W.

I personally despise the M-W dictionary due to the reasons for the creation of it.

1st of all people please get your quoting correctly as to make sure other people can understand who is saying what! ...you know so you don't have random people wondering in thinking different things because someone failed to correctly quote a member..

Secondly lacking of knowledge to not care about the world when it comes to knowing the official means to use words by there definitions? Is that what you are tying to call me? You do realize that people using the language worldwide do NOT have a impact on the language in a official sense. Oh more people use a different dictiornary in India than another that's important to the English language how? Sure it's important to the local language as people can always have a impact on local language.

Perhaps you don't understand the concept of Official vs. unofficial in regards to language. Which would relate to Monopoly money vs. US Dollar. One is an official currency while the other is currency that is not backed by anything and is unofficial.

Yes, local language is important and all that jazz  I guess I should really be more concerned on how Asia countries are speaking the english language because that affect the official English language how?

Regardless of what dictionary Websters or Oxford is the leading dictionary used in your country or region it's pretty useless point to argue about. At least we can now all agree on that Urban dictionary.com is first not and offical dictionary and is not any means to be cited as a way to define the word insanity. and 2 we can agree that the definition of the word insanity is NOT "doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome"

we call all agree on that now right? or do we need to go over it again? :|
