I am not sure if you are serious. If you are, then you are asking is there a reason for a child to pass judgement on others? You are right when you say "It is how good they are that matters"; but "how good you are", does not mean much on the internet. The only criteria of judgement of maturity and competence on the internet is age (and possibly quality of language). If you do not understand what I am talking about, you can always see here(scroll down for pictures), what happens when a child has the power of judgement in a situation that is not going his way.

Well first i agree with you, but i did want to point out that the player you are talking about is over 18 i do believe. However, he was still wrong i am just stating his age. I myself am 19 and do my best as a Moderator and also there is not much we can do that lopdo cant fix so there is no real worry here.

Of course people over 18 commit crimes, but that doesn't mean that a child police is acceptable, does it?

No, no thats not what i was saying. I am just saying that there is not much you can do other than put trust in a mod and if he fails it fire him and move on. However i do believe there should be an age limit.

My point wasn't really that the age of the mods matters so much, I was really just pointing out how flawed the analogy that I quoted was.

I really don't think the mods have all that much power, and as it has been stated, Lopdo can correct virtually any issue that those mods could cause. That said, any significant issues with the mods do reflect on Fiendess, and of course ultimately on Lopdo.

I do agree that a better screening process would be great, but I don't think that the ill effects of not having it are very severe.
