Rolling a tie

Shouldn't rolling a tie like 8-8 or 30-30 result in both players being reduced to 1?

As tannebaums (spelling is wrong) I rolled 2 ties twice in a row and the enemy (both different races, one was terminator) had 5 left BOTH times.

Bug?

Depends on mode. If it was HC it can never be reduced to other than 1s and that's only when attacker loses. This is not a bug.

It was attrition. Both cases it went from an 8 to a 5 for the other races. Both rolls were a tie. I went to 1 in both cases. I just rolled a 13 - 9 in attrition and the other guy had nothing taken off as well. Same race.

I'm not exactly sure of how it works, but I know that the bonuses are calculated afterwords, so with a larger bonus the opponent can keep more army than usual (because the attack fails and the boost is 'taken back' and it's as if you rolled a lower number)

So yes, that was what's programmed, not a bug.

Do we got a table for damage for 1v1 q? This could be interesting.

This makes sense. Thanks.
