Well, I just got insanely lucky on a game, which really is not common for me. I wouldn't normally report luck at all, but this was like serious, no joke, winning like every roll luck.
Essentially, I was playing random, full map, HC with JBleed (Arachnids) and Whosyourdaddy (Natives).
I had the Werewolves.
So basically, the game went like a normal game and Blue (Whosyourdaddy) had a great starting position and strategy.
He ended up reducing me to about three regions and Jbleed to a few by the corner. He had 37 regions.
Anyway, I managed to put myself between him and split him to like 18 regions and the other bit. But from there, he attacked me several times and lost every single roll for about five turns. At that point, I started attacking him, gradually building up. Now keep in mind, he had around 37 regions, which were all 8s. And every time he attacked me, he lost. Almost every time I attacked him, I won. Same went for my rolls against Jbleed, I won almost every time.
Long story short, I came back from that and won the game. I'm not complaining or anything, but even if I might have played strategically, there's no way I should have been able to do that.
So is it a bug, or just a one in a million streak of luck?
