GRAND TOURNAMENT TWEAKS
With all the complications with the first GT I have decided that Grand tournaments will be held every season. (Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter).
All the stuff for the first GT have now been posted below.

F A C T I O N R U L E S

Factions are only supposed to be for those who have both a forum account and VW2 account.
Those who don't have a forum account will be listed as FOREMAN for your faction.
To those listed as FOREMAN can only get vortex points for rank improvement (See Vortex Points Listing Below For Full List)

1. Players signed up for factions will be put into pre-selected Factions depending on three factors. Different Factions have different standards to enter their faction.

1. Forum Productivity
2. Game Strategies
3. Communication Efficiency

2. Faction players earn Vortex Points for their faction. Vortex Points will be calculated and will determine the placing in the Grand Tournaments. (See Grand Tournaments + Rules below for full debriefing) The winning Faction of the Grand Tournament will get 200 Vortex Points and a spot in the Hall Of Awesome. (See Hall Of Awesome below)
3. Faction players will also be competing for individual spots in the Faction LeaderBoards. (See Faction LeaderBoards below) The Faction LeaderBoards will showcase...

1. All-Time Best Scorers
2. Monthly Best Scorers
3. Weekly Best Scorers

4. If a Faction player has a spot in the Faction LeaderBoards, bragging will not be tolerated, and if this rule is not followed then the player will be removed from the LeaderBoards and will be given a weekly ban. (See Punishments below for complete listing)
5. Harassment and other Belittlement will be punished with weekly ban.
6. Good Sportsmanship is advised.
7. Switching Factions is not allowed.
8. Have fun and Fight On.

P U N I S H M E N T S

PUNISHMENTS WILL BE APPLIED ASAP TO THE RULE BREAKER AND WILL BE LISTED IN THE BANNED LIST

1. Harassment, Disrespect = Week banned from Factions
2. Sabotage, Unfair Gameplay = Month banned from Factions
3. Bragging, Belittlement = Banned from entering Faction LeaderBoards for month
4. Cheating, Flaming on Factions Forum = Suspended from Factions FOREVER

G R A N D T O U R N A M E N T S + R U L E S

GRAND TOURNAMENTS

1. Grand Tournaments occur at the end of each month and have special names for each depending on each month. Example: Oct. 2013 = Friday the 13th.
2. The tournament will have a qualifier for the four factions with the least amount of Vortex Points. The Qualifiers will be set up like so. 1 BYE. 2 BYE. 3v6. 4v5.
3. The winners of the qualifiers and first and second will be put into Double Elimination matches with the top players of each factions.
4. The two remaining Faction members will do 2 out of 3 series and then the winning faction of the month will be chosen.

RULES

1. Whoever wins, wins and people who whine and flame will be ignored.
2. Sabotaging your own Faction is not allowed. Ex: giving away strategies, forfeiting matches, etc.
3. All games must have winner. Draws will count as adding a loss to both sides.

To get points from winning a game you must post a screenshot of end-game. To get points from against different Faction member post a screenshot of board with opponent name

FACTIONS

ALPHA

An ALPHA member always gets on top, the dominant one. Once the empire is built he'll take them all down.
One by one.

AUTO

A member of AUTO knows the best technology. The best to conquer. He'll pick the best weapon of choice and he'll play off the strengths, and balance out the weaknesses.

ARROW

The members of ARROW know what to attack and when. Knows where to play off and where to defend. With attacks with deadly precision. This will make them a formidable force.

ARMY

An ARMY soldier knows who is the best ally and who to strike down first. They'll know when treason will upon them and they'll attack before. Hard and deadly.

ARMOR

ARMOR members are defenders. They'll build up their forces then unleash a deadly barrage of attacks. Although the empire might be small, it will definitely pack a deadly punch.

AWOL

You don't want to mess with a member of AWOL. Their attacks are swift, quick, and clean. These guys are always the first to attack, and most of the time the last.

PLAYER CLASSES

Artillery: Point Multiplier-2x, Achieve By- Winning Grand Tournament as Calvary, Earning 2000 VP as Calvary, or Hold All-Time Best Spot in Faction LeaderBoards for whole month.

Calvary: Point Multiplier-1.5x, Achieve By- Winning Grand Tournament as Soldier, Earning 1500 VP as Soldier, or Hold Monthly Best Spot in Faction LeaderBoards for whole month as Soldier.

Soldier: Point Multiplier-1.25x, Achieve By- Winning Grand Tournament as Infantry, Earning 1250 VP as Infantry, or Hold Weekly Best Spot in Faction LeaderBoards for whole week as Infantry.

Infantry: Point Multiplier-1x, Achieve By- Signing up for factions with forum account. Sign up for forums as a Foreman.

Foreman: Point Multiplier-0.5x, Achieve By- Signing up for factions without forum account.
