Clan Recruitment Day

Postby jwl1000 » Fri Jul 12, 2013 3:14 am

i think that there should be a day dedicated to recruiting new members for all clans. there could be 4 or 5 games going at one time, all for different clans, and every member could test out a certain clan style and see which one they like best, and hopefully chose one.
every clan interested in participating should work with the other clans to find a date that they will have most of their players on at the same time.
please give me some input on what you think about my idea

Wolves don't recruit. We let them come to us. They're better that way.

It just does. Almost none of our good members were found by searching. Actually, only about a third of all of them were ones we actually got while actively looking for members.

Is this a joke?

If not - Here is a reminder from the Front Page of the Wolfpack Clan Page:

Autumnwolf17 wrote:You guys need to remember to be recruiting new people. We have a lack of new people recently, and you seem to be forgetting that new people mean everything to a community based clan like ours. Get smart, friendly people, people who are cool to chat with, and who are up for a few friendly games. Remember, they will represent the WolfPack. But most of all, just keep recruiting, and keep showing everyone that, as always, the WolfPack is the best of the best.
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.

Sure, if that worked, but none of us actually do it. I tried for a while and got a few people, but then I realized we got more active people when we let it just happen. That message is for anyone who wants to try it the old fashioned way. So clarifications... we do actual recruiting sometimes, just not very often.

Jeremiah, 4444, leviathan, and myself joined the Creed by our own will, along with several others. It isn't uncommon.

Also, I agree with Ozserf, this should be placed in General Discussion.
