It says the spammer comes from Madagascar which usually has some French speaking people, so that might be the reason.

Being English, this really doesn't improve the impression of French people on me..

Didn't say I did it by memory. I have a good translator app on me so I thought I'll put it to use, however it is not fully perfect.

I know you didn't say you did, but it looks really terrible when it asks if you know this is a right forum... as in the side. Granted, right has 37 meanings in English, but it looks ridiculous.
