Here is my idea on how to resolve the clan rules issue. Please hear me out.
I think we should create leagues. A league:
- Decides the rules for the members to follow
- Decided how to implement the rules it made
- Gets to choose how to rank members
- Can allow members to play against non-league participants assuming that match is under league rules; is not required to allow this
- Can (hopefully most will) allow members to participate in multiple leagues, but will not be forced to allow this
- Can (again, if they choose) allow games to count in multiple different leagues
- Any other stuff people come up with
Anyways, that is my attempt to create an non-imposing rules system for clans that doesn't require people to follow it. If you like it, thanks. If you have any ideas, please tell me them in a reply.

agreed. this would help rule issues as each league as its own rules right? also i think clans should be able to be in more then one league

Thanks. As I said, clans could be in more than one league assuming every league they are a part of is fine with it. However, I think leagues that didn't allow it would lose membership quickly.

You chose the inception way. A clan within a clan (a league). That could work but for some reason I don't think this will catch on. Implementing clans in the game itself would be much more useful

It isn't a clan within a clan; leagues would not have positions for members, would not play against other leagues, etc. And as clans are community based, I don't think they should be implemented as a game feature.

Agreed.
It should be Certain clans can join Certain Leagues
Different Leagues have different Rules.
Thus Different rankings, Different Stats,
So My clan could be doing great in Alpha League, but it could be doing horrible in Foxtrot because he Never compete in the Foxtrots games or make it on time.
You can sign up for leagues do to your opinion on their Rules, what time the games/tournaments are or maybe even because they only play Att or only HC
There should be a standard set up though, here is a Rough Draft.
League Name
Rules

2:
3:
4:
5:
and so on
Game Type
This League plays Att & HC

Why not organize it like a sports league. Have 2 different conferences and a certain number of divisions within those conferences. Then we could make it competitive by organizing a schedule of play and then lets say top 2 clans from each division go on to the playoffs. then the top teams from the 2 conferences face each other in the finals.

Because we want the
Divisions to
Divide us into groups so we won't have to agree on 1 set of rules.
