I was just curious, that's all, trying to get a understanding of the council and rules.

All I can say is read the charter.

Basically we are just a self-imposed government that can't enforce anything, we just sit around and talk nonsense to get our names on a front page.

Okay, due to the O.O.S. voting yes to initiating the three day countdown to vote between Karen219 and Ballsack as members of the Council Bench we can move on.

So, firstly.
I'd like to know from Karen219 or Ballsack if they don't want the position, if either step down the other will be implemented.

Secondly, Chris is now a member of the Bench and I will pass on the information he needs.

Thirdly, we will begin voting between Karen219 and Ballsack until such time that one of them steps down or one wins majority.

Also, I have decided that to avoid confusion that when using Sabre that whoever is operating the account must sign their name at the end of the message. (Not required for editing main page.)

And lastly, I have decided that in order to maintain fairness that the Bench Members will not serve a designated term but instead continue to serve until they back down OR a Member of the Council starts a vote for their replacement. If the vote is a majority yes then the particular persons mentioned will cease to serve.

I feel this is the best way to do this so that nobody is getting special treatment and so that the Council's wishes are held to the fullest extent.

Proposal: None of the Big Three (Lancestar2, Ratsmasher, KingBlackFire), or any confirmed secondary accounts of those Three should be allowed into a clan at any point, with acceptance in the event that it is reasonably uncertain or unknown to the public that an account is one of those Three. In the event that a member of a clan is found to be one of them, they should be removed upon discovery.

I cannot add that due to the sixth rule of the Council Charter. "The Council cannot dictate or impose anything on an individual clan."

Funny, that's not at all how I interpreted that rule.

Due to past issues WC abstains on Issue 6.

If you believe I falsely interpreted the sixth rule of the Council Charter, please enlighten ME. I don't want to be too widely mistaken.

I'm able to see it as any of these possible meanings:
1. The Council may create rules, but cannot force clans to follow them (aside from possibly the punishment of expulsion from the Council or action taken by member clans) (this is how I originally interpreted it)
2. The Council can make no decision concerning a specific clan; any ruling must be overarching.
3. The Council cannot control internal clan decisions.
4. The Council may not make rules for clans to follow. (this seems to be how you interpreted it, correct me if I'm wrong)

I see what you mean, but my point was that I cannot host a rule that says certain people may never join any clan in the Council.

Besides, TECHNICALLY, it's impossible. Those three people are banned

People with one or more permanent bans should probably be kept out of clans (with exceptions of pardons by moderator). Not letting those three in should probably be an unspoken rule.

what about people who are only accused of being them? you say a mod confirmed i was ratsmasher yet as he was a perm ban player the mod who proved this would surely of banned me also? hard to prove what's not true though.

and can i please ask how highlander is not shunned as i am? i mean he acts more like ratsmasher than me, constantly causes trouble and abusing people yet he is accepted, i do nothing wrong except be accused of something and am outcasted. all i wanted was a chance i have played without incident for 3 months yet am still suppose to be this super troll?

i honestly expect to log on one day and find this forum has disappeared up its own a**e!

2ND. Y not just allow clans that r newly created be clans automatically(without voting on them), that way they dont have to wait through all the chaos while NOONE agrees on anything. That way they can do clan battles and stuff and every1 has more fun.

3rd. Clans should only be voted on if they want to join the council board.

They are clans, they just aren't recognized by the community. Pretty cool right?

The Council is going to start taking record of clan wars and awarding points to different clans for won wars. How exactly they do that, will be decided by the Board. However, only wars with other Council Members will be officially recorded on the front page

Highlander, is Highlander.

He's been a jerk to me, and I him. I'm over it though, and he as well.
I believe him to be a friend of mine, so I'm not taking sides on either of you.
