Well, for me I just double click where it shows the time in the lower left of my screen and drag it to where I need it. I also use Lightshot for taking screenshots. Take it from somebody who deals with a lot of screenshotting.... that is the best thing you could ever do for yourself.

I would use Lightshot if it was my PC, but it's my dad's and I don't think he'd appreciate me downloading it.

1) Make a limit to how far a clan can expand.
Clans are great, fun, and you get to meet alot of friends. But what most new players would do is go to the more popular, and more crowded clans, sparing no thought for other options as all the cool kids are hanging there. Plus there is like 20-30 people there. My preposition is to limit how many people can be in a clan. Clans that try to rise like Pheonix Rising (Pun not intended) have no people to recruit as bigger ones like VWC or WP snowball them up. Maybe if a clan's total member was limited to maybe 15-20. Wishful thinking, but this might result in more clans being established. Hopefully.

2) Fang's Activity Ranking idea. It might work for the Clan Acrivity Reward thingy. But except, change it so it will only define Active and Inactive members. My thought-up formula is:
100-(Inactive members*3/5)*10= Monthly points
Example: Clan has 10 inactive members from 30. Their points would sum up to be {100-(30/5)*10}= 40 points

3) Everyone gets a clan!
Smaller and newer clans rarely get noticed by alot of people. And when they join they don't have many people to talk to. People who join smaller clans won't be able to communicate much except for those who go on the forums almost everyday. So I suggest we make a "Default Clan". Everybody who is in a clan, or wishes to join a clan in general can be a part of this "Default Clan". It's leaders will be the Council itself. By doing this, the newer members of the community will have a wider variety of people to communicate with. Of course, members can leave the "Default Clan". This clan will not be able to participate in Clan Wars/Clan battles.

This post was typed on a phone and in a rush. Excuse lack of elaborative details and grammar or spelling mistakes.

1) That was already suggested. We do not have the authority to enforce that. Also, it in no way helps the situation, not to mention people have loyalties, and you cannot force them out of a clan they desire to be. It is the leader's choice whether or not to put a limit, and generally these limited clans fail or end up raising their limits, as limits are counter productive.

2) You cannot give points based on inactive members, as many clans simply honour or kick inactive players, and those who honour them recognize that they are inactive, and only list them to keep record.

3) Um... That is no clan by my definition. I think the topic "So, you're looking for a clan?" will be effect in doing what I think you are trying to say. Also, there are people that simply don't want to join a clan, and from what you said, this sounds like you are requiring non-clan members be in this pseudo-clan thing.

Just thought I would address your points since no one else was. I hope you understand my arguments, and hopefully you know that I don't mean to be rude in silencing your ideas. Also, I see no harm in bringing up suggestions, but only an Active Clan is able to formally raise issues.

1. We could leave the clans with 20+ members but also put a rule on them so they cant recruit anymore unless the go under they 20 mark

That violates our statutes. I'd sooner secede from the Council than vote for that.

I think we should spend a few more days trying to fine-tune the Activity Award process and then have a vote between Fang and VM's ideas.

For myself personally, I like VM's idea better minus the last 2 things. I don't think they really give smaller clans any help and are pretty much useless (no offense intended VM).

As for Fang's idea, to me - and I might just be lazy - it uses to many calculations. I believe even you, Fang, may have messed up.

Fangfallen wrote:1.) Every time the clan votes on an issue, regardless of how they cast their vote, they earn 5 points for each A level or B level member.
2.) Every time the clan completes a war, regardless of whether they won or not, they earn 5 points for each A level or B level member.

7 members partaking in a sanctioned Tourney, and 3 members partaking in wars, garnering them 500 M.P. points.
Voted on 3 issues, and completed one war, garnering them 80 C.P. points.

I may have messed up myself and you did it right, but shouldn't the total C.P. points be somewhere near 115?

No offence taken. I figured smaller clans would have an easier time getting every member to do those things, but I see how it may not be a good way to balance between small and large clans.

I agree that Fang's is a bit complicated, and I thought about doing something more like his after looking through both VWC's and WP's activity rules, but I opted for a simpler system. If you'd like, Fang, we can work together to come up with a system that is both simple enough and balanced. I know if can usually be easier getting things like this worked out alone, however, so maybe it's better if we both give ideas and keep revising them until everyone finds one they like best, because I think it's pretty clear that the issue will pass once a system is formulated.

I think we are now on the right track.
