Council Voting Guide:
Each clan in the council gets a voting power of one vote.
Each Moderator in the council gets a voting power of one vote.
In the case of a tie the Bench may make ONE unified vote. (

As far as I know this may be inaccurate, but it is what is on the OP.

That was when there was such a thing as moderatorS , please note it says moderators.

But the council was set up with a bench of three so no one person can ever decide a tie( like a moderator)the bench must decide within the three before casting one vote.No one ever said about moderators returning to the council except fangfallen and he does not have that power.
Fangfallen and the rest of the bench are just meer janitors of this thread, they have no power or say.
As far as i'm aware there is no moderator on the board and Fangfallen had no right in saying so.

I received the most votes for this mere janitorial position, so I took it upon myself to create the account and TRANSFER the old thread to this one and then proceed to revamp it. I did not change any rules, the Council voted a majority YES to having the Bench break ties in case you want to point that out.

I allowed all the old Council Members to simply resubmit their necessary information to me so I could put updated information on the page.
Chess was at that point still a Council Member who could cast a vote because of his modship. I cannot give OR take away that power, the COUNCIL can.

If you would like for Chess's voting power to be taken away you may simply raise this issue and I will add it to the voting plaza.

Now, I understand that the reason all this has even happened is because Chess did not adequately run the old thread so the Council decided to elect a more stable three person Bench, this was passed to Chris and myself and voting is currently taking place between Karen and Ballsack. However, at no point has anyone raised the issue of Chess's power to be removed at the point of my election or since. I won't say he can't vote because I CAN'T say he can't vote.

Now, the original document that Beatlesfan wrote up said that moderators received one vote. He never said that the original document cannot be edited by Council majority consent. Unless I am misreading the original document it supposedly gives voting power to any and all moderators. My suggestion to you if you want to have Chess's power to be removed would be to ask to remove any and all moderators voting power, after all, this is a CLAN council and as a moderator they should be unbiased fully. We have already made a solution for the chance of having a tied vote, a unified Bench vote. In my opinion the moderators don't need a vote unless by chance they happen to be the leader or a spokesman for their own clan.

I believe The Bench has a more understanding of the clan needs and as its three seat bench of peers from the community elected by the board which are unbiased.I move to remove the moderators insight into the council ,as i feel present moderators have no grasp of whats happening outside the forum.

I wish to raise an issue to remove all moderators votes from the council as i believe the new three bench system is more than fair.

As always, I've updated my post on the first page with KOTR's stance on the issues.

The bench has no power?
But yet they still have the power to break a tie?

He meant to heedlessly change the founding rules of the Council; to unjustly say that moderators can or cannot vote.
That is a Council decision, not a personal one.

No offense to Chess, I don't mean to say that you opinion shouldn't be listened to or that it isn't a good one, but it seems to be specified a lot that this Council has power over the clans collective and the clans only. If the things we did applied to all of VW, then it would make sense to have moderators with a vote, but in this case, Chess is not a clan representative, and so should not have a vote in my opinion. Nevertheless, I feel that he, along with some others in particular, should be listened to well as they know the community.

The WolfPack votes yes to issue 8.

We also vote Karen219 for final chairperson.

To my Pack: I'd love it if you would PM me if you have an opinion on these issues so I can get a bit more of the Pack vote in.

I agree with both of the votes.

There's my opinion.

Wc votes NO to Issue #8. I feel, even though as AW says this only applies to clans, that it makes far more sense for a moderator (someone who is meant to handle disputes in the game) makes sense to be part of the Council (meant to handle disputes in the game, albeit it only in clans). It also seems far more fair than allowing a vote for the chair (even if only in the case of a tie). I do, however, present multiple counterproposals (in order of preference):
1. Neither mods nor the bench get a vote. If there is a tie, an issue fails and things stay as they were before, with the exception in which the prior state is ambiguous and a choice must be made. In this case it would be left up to the bench.
2. The bench does not get a tie-breaking vote, but the mods (collectively) do.
3. Every mod gets a seat on the bench tie-breaking vote.
