Clan Rules

^What he said. Clans are not built in-game; they are not to be regulated by some rules someone happens to come up with; feel free to follow these rules if you want. I don't think anyone should be under any obligation to follow these.

i dont mean to be rubbing it in by saying what everyone before me said, but anyways i already made some rules.I suggest a voting or modification to the rules. not just stating these are the rules. people should vote either my rules or ure rules and the modifications.

Having sanctioned match observers, cool idea. Only one "Official" map for ranking? Not so cool. As for the observers, why not have every clan send forth one or two representatives, and have a "Referee" clan comprised of them, and clans wishing to duke it out let them know, "Hey, we want to fight such and such clan, when can we have a Ref?" One of the ref's goes to watch, and then report the results no matter the map used.

I have to agree with the community on this one. Clans were started by community members (not the game maker or mods)... and initial rules should likewise be formulated and created by the community that brought clans to the game in the first place. If rules are necessary to form some guidelines, a polling and discussion of each proposed rule would be appropriate before creation of a rule set, as these are not "offencable" rules. I recommend a separate thread group under Clans called Clan Rules, whereby users can submit their rules for polling and discussion.
