Let's put it this way: One map choice that is mostly fair for 8 people is that one with the single shoke point connecting the other 8 regions. There is a bit of a disadvantage to brown, but at least it's more equal.

8 Island map is actually the fairest I can think of, even though it's as boring as ever. You know just how much of a disadvantage you have from the start, and even going last you still have some hope.

You all forget one major point , that winning a game has 75% luck and 25 % tactics , losing or winning is just like flipping a coin. But as a christmas special it could be fun, though first to three wins would be better.
