I swear, someone needs to make a little map plotting this out, just to show how each territory gets replaced by other clans. This all started with Knights, which took from all the other clans a little, then grew until splitting off two parts. One of those two parts split in half again, and now one of those halves has shrunk.

Knights are like the continent, the Trident is one of the little countries now.

This sounds better in my head.
