Want to create/join clan? Do you want to check out other clan members?

I'm a bit sick of this hassle to do with spies too. Can we please stop taking in anyone who asks to join our clan and make sure that they have either a good forum/in game presence or a few of us know them personally and talk to them regularly? Then we wouldn't have these problems in the first place.

I only let in about 25% of applicants... I just haven't worked out how to limit them best...

Alrighty, here are a few suggestions for rules and announcements you can put on the first page: These are taken exactly how they are worded from my clan and they are my policies that I have to weed out inactive or non-serious players. Some of the terms are from that game so will be gobbledygook, and unfortunately this forum doesn't show when a player last logged in. Luckily I haven't had any trolls yet but I advice applicants that they should have been active on the forums for a while before applying. You could also have an 'invitation only' policy.

You could also ask Lopdo if every big clan can have a personal subforum, that way you would be able to check the IP adresses of anyone who tries to join your clan as you would have access to the moderator control panel; this would allow you to do a general search and find out if there are any accounts with the same active IP adresses. It would also give security from spies as it seems they are still getting in.

So here they are:

Inactivity of 21 days or more without notifying me through a PM will result in you being removed from the clan, this is in case I recruit anyone who gets tired of clans but doesn't mention it. I'm going to treat inactivity as the last time that player logged on. If you need to go inactive or think you will do and are still in the clan, please PM me to let me know and the 21 day rule won't apply to you. In most circumstances 21 days should be long enough for you to log on at least once.

I'm going to need to think about any further people who want to join the clan so I apolagise but I won't be able to let you know immediately if you can join or not. I've got to come up with some sort of plan to organise the clan if it grows large in size; I don't want to get to al large size and then find that I can't manage it. Maybe I'll appoint a few deputies in command and give some jobs out or limit the size of the clan. I also need a veriety of players too; right now we haven't got a single ST player so that would hinder who we can challange. I hope you can understand.

-Incase you guys didn't know, you are free to invite members to our clan

Requirements
You are a dedicated player and would like to share and/or enhance your skill with kindred spirits.

That is, anybody can apply. No minimum league required (even though I'd suggest you're Gifted+).
You should try be active on the forums though (at least twice per usual week).
The simple, the best.

Lopdo or Tech, delete that post.
Xerxes:Let us reason. It would be a waste. It would be madness for you and your troops to perish because of a misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.
Leonidas:Haven't you noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.

I would find a dead bear, but I don't feel very insulted. That was stupid though, given the info I have on you.
